Inconnu is an exploration of what keeps us separated from each other. Part political commentary and part immersive performance art, the audience comes together to participate in the intimate lives of other people. An improvised theatre performance which changes each showing, a discussion at a table, in a doorway or on a small couch; each location different than the next. Mari, the lead performer invites a guest from the audience to play a supporting character while the audience witnesses their interaction. The context is intimate and personal, without pretense. The performance is followed by an open dialogue about intimacy, connection and what divides us.
