What began as an exploration of identity and rebellion from rigid movement patterns and aesthetic hierarchies has become an amalgamation of performance art and post dramatic theatre. Built through improvisation within choreography containers in dance, a movement language was formed with aerial straps for new work that exists outside the margins. The fourth iteration of a trans-disciplinary project that merges the visuality of cinematography, the aesthetic sense of dance and apparatus of aerial straps to convey narratives of identity and belonging in urban contexts.
